Delivery Information

We are based in the UK 

Each item has different processing times depending on whether it is in stock or made to order. With stock items we aim to process them within 1 to 2 working days. Made to order items specify an estimated making time on the product page and delivery will be thereafter depending on your chosen delivery method. Please get in touch if you have any questions regarding your delivery time. 

We use Royal Mail or Parcel force for most of our shipping which will require a signature. If no one is in then a calling card will be left with details of where to collect it from (usually your local sorting office).   

Our operating times are Monday to Saturday so add up to 1-2 days onto the expected shipping time if you place an order on a Sunday. You must pre arrange any express delivery requests with us before ordering.

 Any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible.

Holly Young Millinery is not liable for any damage to or loss of goods occurring in transit. 

International Postage

We use a Royal Mail or Parcel force traced for service and signed for services when possible. Most shipping takes 5-7 working days to the US but cannot be guaranteed. Once your order leaves the UK it is the responsibilty of the destination country, usually the tracking code will then transfer to the destination country. Please note that P.O.Box addresses cannot be sent on a signed for service. 

You may be subject to local taxes, import duties, quotas or permits these charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Customs requirements vary from country to country so please research the customs requirements in your own country before you place your order. We will not be liable for any customs or import duties.

Queries & Returns

If your order has been despatched but hasn’t arrived within the expected time period, please email us via hello@hollyyoung.co.uk, or call us onland line: +44(0)1872 501234 or cell phone: +44 (0) 7968 783320 between 10am and 5pm, Monday to Saturday GMT.

If you’ve more than one item on your order, please bear in mind that products may be sent out in multiple packages and so arrive separately. However, if this is not the case and you haven’t received the entire order as detailed in the order confirmation email sent to you, please email or call us as before.

Goods must be inspected on delivery and any damage, shortage, defect or deficiency of the goods supplied should be notified to us by email or telephone within three days of receipt. We may as for photographs as evedence.

Any damaged or defective goods being returned to use should be in an unused condition, packaged securely in their original packing (or equal equivalent), and sent back to us by recorded delivery within seven days of receipt.

We will make good any damage, shortage, defect or deficiency within our liabilities as soon as it is reasonable to do so and shall reimburse your reasonable costs for the return of the goods but shall otherwise be under no liability whatsoever arising from such damage, shortage, defect or deficiency.

We offer all of our customers purchasing non made to order items a goodwill returns policy of 14 days from receipt. This covers the return of items you would like to return for reasons other than damage, shortage, defect or deficiency, i.e. it is not suitable or not liked. All products returned to us should be returned in their original unused condition and packaging, by recorded delivery, and include a note stating the reason for return. In this instance the customer will be liable for the cost of all return postage and packaging.

All bespoke items, or variations requested by the customer to set options items are exempt from order cancellation or a refund if not suitable or not liked. However we do want our customers to be as happy as possible with our products so please notify us by email or telephone within three days of delivery and we will discuss potential resolutions to the situation with you. It will be up to our discretion to decide whether a refund can be given.
